Who is killing Africa's Rhinos?
With regards to SPOTS' current projects and meeting its objectives, it is accurate to say that given our mission statement, we will always be setting new goals
and one sometimes wonders whether your objectives are totally met. What we can say in this regard, SPOTS enjoys a huge amount of energy and commitment, and
nothing will prevent us from truly making a difference to conservation in Southern Africa.
While SPOTS is mainly focusing on the current rhino poaching problem, we will keep working on other projects as time allows.

SPOTS endeavours to create strategic links between initiatives where sharing common technology, methodology, information or intellectual property may improve the effectiveness of conservation.
SPOTS works with the business sector on realising their meaningful role in the conservation effort. So often, a company has wonderful intentions of assisting with conservation and either identifies a specific initiative or responds to a request with a donation. Much as this is an essential part of funding, especially for conservation-based non-governmental organisations (NGOs), it is often a dilution of the supporting company’s potential to add further value to the initiative. A particular company may, as an example, be well positioned to provide the conservation effort with superior tracking technology, whilst another may be able to free up a personnel resource for a few hours a week in order to assist with information dissemination, whilst yet another may be able to offer incentives for information on poaching activity. There are truly many ways in which the business sector can contribute to the conservation effort
